With GiSmartware, discover the software that will optimise the management of your energy networks!

Serving manufacturers, public authorities and citizens, GiSmartware researches, designs and develops ergonomic and easy-to-use software solutions which optimise the “smart” management of their various energy networks.

What are the challenges today
for the energy networks?

The various types of energy are vital for our world. The current networks must evolve into Smart Grids (or “Smart Networks”) in order to manage the supply/demand balance more effectively. As a result, they are increasingly subject to regulations and challenges.

More sustainable

The current policy is towards increasing and improving energy performance, in particular by increasing the various sources of renewable energies, to reduce the CO2 content of the electricity kWh.

More efficient

Optimisation of network investment and operating costs is at the heart of the issues, while also improving production, the quality of distribution and the storage of energy.

More communicative

Smart Grids are at the heart of the Smart City; they offer new services to customers and real-time data to reduce energy consumption (energy transition act).

More secure

Strong regulations in terms of security: the challenge is to offer a better quality of service with a production and a distribution network that are secure and well-maintained.

What are the challenges today?

Your challenges

  • Have an accurate knowledge of the location of the assets (tanks, networks, etc…), in order to comply with the regulations relating to DT/DICT.
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance of the various infrastructures of the network to comply with the required standards.
  • Identify the customers served by the network in order to prevent those who are said to be “sensitive” to a possible cut.
  • Implement smart meters, in compliance with the energy transition act.

Our solutions

  • Mapping enabling integration of the networks in compliance with standards in order to meet DT/DICT requirements.
  • A dedicated maintenance process for each of the stakeholders involved in the network, so that they can act in a corrective and preventive way and ensure continuity of the data.
  • An interface with the various sensors present on the network (consumption report, measurement sensor for filling of tank, etc…), to facilitate operation of the network and plan tank-filling rounds.
  • Operational reports enabling the status of the particular network and the actions carried out or to be carried out to be known at all times.

Your challenges

  • Be able to handle the growing development of the networks (new customers, housing developments, etc.) and manage the supply/demand balance more efficiently.
  • Facilitate the integration of electricity from renewable energies, in order to better manage the flows from different sources.
  • Improve the quality of distribution of electricity by reducing the number of power cuts and intervention times.
  • Monitor the evolution of pollutants (PCB – PolyChloroBiphenyl) in transformers, to comply with environmental standards.
  • Implement smart meters, in compliance with the energy transition act.

Our solutions

  • Mappingenabling integration of the networks in compliance with standards in order to meet DT/DICT requirements, and include studies and load simulations, to extend or improve the network.
  • Amulti-business tool to take account of renewable energies in the electricity distribution networks, based on a single software solution.
  • A preventive and curative maintenancemanagement process, to ensure the continuity and quality of the networks, as well as a reporting tool allowing the automatic generation of operating reports.
  • A history of the various interventions and of the reports of pollutant measurements in order, for example, to provide for the replacement of transformers in which the pollutant threshold is too high.
  • An interface with a tele-control tool, in order to upload the information directly into the GIS to alert customers, to understand the level of consumption and the malfunctions of devices connected to the network such as smart meters.

Your challenges

  • Understand the energy production of the fleet (wind, solar, hydro, etc.) to know if it is producing efficiently.
  • Maintain the continuous operation of the fleet, by replacing defective items.

Our solutions

  • Display all the plants or farmson a one single tool, and manage the production even if they are different kinds (wind, photovoltaic, etc.).
  • Compare the business plan data with the real data from the sensors uploaded in the GIS, in order to verify that the production of the plant accords with what was planned and simulated.
  • Create a dedicated and personalised reporting tool, to automatically generate periodic activity reports.
  • Share the tool with the various service providers involved with the fleet, so that each intervention is listed and recorded.
  • Automatically trigger maintenance processes following abnormal sensor feedback.
